New Reporting Feature in the VC Solar App: Analysis Results at a Glance
Optimized planning with precise reports—the new feature for well-informed decisions.
The VC Solar App now includes an integrated reporting function that allows users to clearly structure their analysis results and utilize them effectively for planning and decision-making. This not only simplifies documentation but also enables well-founded communication with stakeholders in cities and municipalities. The results can be compiled into a PDF report and easily downloaded.
Enhanced Features for Comprehensive Solar Analysis
The new reporting function extends the VC Solar App’s powerful analytical tools, which go far beyond conventional solar cadastres. With a true 3D solution, users can calculate solar irradiation not only for rooftops but also for vertical façades. The software provides essential planning data for sustainable energy generation, particularly in urban areas where façade photovoltaics and green energy solutions are becoming increasingly important.
Customizable Parameters for Optimal Use
The VC Solar App enables users to flexibly input key household parameters such as energy consumption, self-consumption, and costs. This makes it possible to perform individualized assessments of economic efficiency and CO₂ savings potential. A crucial factor: the more solar energy is consumed directly—for example, through daily usage, an electric vehicle, or a heat pump—the greater the CO₂ savings. The app allows users to adjust all relevant parameters, ensuring efficient and environmentally friendly solar system planning.
Advanced Data Integration for Realistic Calculations
Beyond analyzing rooftops and façades, the VC Solar App can also factor in shading from external objects such as trees, dormers, or planned buildings—provided the corresponding geodata is available. The software is also highly adaptable in terms of data sources: In addition to CityGML and 3D mesh models, other geodata can be integrated into VC Map, allowing for even more precise yield potential calculations.
With these advanced features, the VC Solar App reaffirms its position as a powerful tool for photovoltaic planning.
