Virtual City Systems has been a member of the FIWARE Foundation since April 2023 and complements the open source initiative in particular with solutions in the area of smart cities.

At the FIWARE Global Summit, which will take place in Vienna on June 12 and 13, 2023, VCS will now also be represented with a contribution to the conference program. As part of the section “FIWARE Player One: Smart in the Metaverse”, Dr. Stefan Trometer, Managing Director Business Development at VCS, will speak about Digital Urban Twins as a basis for immersive and interactive applications, such as VR visualizations.
