The district of Hof has driven forward the implementation of its Smart City initiative with the introduction of an Urban Data Platform and a Digital Twin.
The project is being implemented under the leadership of an experienced consortium consisting of DKSR, RIWA and VCS. The platform will collect and analyze municipal data and use it to provide more efficient services. The Digital Twin of the district will be a virtual representation that enables applications such as forest monitoring and traffic flow visualization.
This innovative project, which will run until 2027, is set to revolutionize municipal planning and decision-making. The development of the digital infrastructure will take at least one year and will be supported by federal funding. It is expected that this project will set new standards for the use of technology in urban environments and improve the quality of life for citizens.
