The Lindau 3D Forum will once again be the central meeting point for experts from the fields of urban planning, infrastructure, GIS and surveying in 2025. It will take place on 13 and 14 May 2025 in the modern congress center on the island of Lindau – with a unique atmosphere right on Lake Constance. During these days, everything will revolve around innovative technologies, digital twins and practical applications for smart cities and regions.

A special highlight is our Virtual City Systems Workshop on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, from 12:30 to 13:30:

📅 Hofer Land innovation space – symbiosis of 3D city model, catalog service, sensor data platform and dashboards.

We will show how 3D city models, real-time sensor data and interactive dashboards are linked in order to make cities smarter and more sustainable. By exchanging ideas with experts, participants will gain practical insights into the added value of data-based urban development.

In addition to our workshop, the 3D Forum 2025 offers exciting insights into AI-supported 3D scans for automated mapping, the use of digital twins at regional level and the use of mobile mapping data for sustainable street design. The programme will be completed by a trade exhibition of leading companies presenting the latest developments in 3D (web) GIS, visualization and mapping technologies.
