Meet us at FOSS4G Europe Conference 2026
From June 29 to July 3, 2026, the European open-source geodata community will gather in Timișoara, Romania, for FOSS4G Europe 2026. The conference brings together developers, researchers, and geodata experts to discuss the latest trends in open-source GIS, geodata technologies, and collaborative innovation. VCS will be there to share a presentation on panoramic images in VC Map and looks forward to connecting with the community.
VCS will be presenting “VC Map Panorama: High Resolution Panoramic Images”
The talk will take place on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., the Speaker will be Ben Kuster, Senior Software Developer at VCS.
The session introduces VC Panorama panorama integration in VC Map and demonstrates how high-resolution panoramic imagery can be combined with geospatial data in an open-source web mapping environment.
Attendees will gain insights into technical implementation approaches, visualization workflows and practical use cases for immersive spatial applications.
As an open-source solution, VC Map supports interoperable and flexible geospatial workflows and contributes to transparent, community-driven GIS development.
