This year, Magdeburg’s Christmas market not only shines on site, but also digitally: the entire market has been reproduced in detail in the interactive 3D city model of the state capital.

The project was developed by the Department of Urban Planning and Surveying and offers visitors a completely new perspective. Every attraction, every stall – from the imposing Ferris wheel to the festively decorated Christmas tree – was modeled individually. Supplemented by information on types of business and product ranges, interested parties can plan their visit to the market in advance and discover highlights virtually.

Whether for a first impression or perfect preparation for the real stroll – the 3D Christmas market is a must for all fans of the Christmas season.
