German Association of Cities publishes Expert Paper: “Urban Digital Twins”

The German Association of Cities recently published an expert paper that aims to clarify the conceptual and practical relationships and distinctions between the terms Spatial Data Infrastructure (GDI), Urban Data Platform (UDP) and Urban Digital Twin (UDZ).
The paper demonstrates how Urban Digital Twins can serve as a valuable digital tool for a variety of city-related topics, such as solar potential analysis, flood management, or sustainable mobility planning.
