The Office for Mobility and Civil Engineering of the City of Münster has decided to rely on the technology of Virtual City Systems for the development of its digital twin of the city. The VC Suite offers a variety of possibilities in dealing with geodata. Among other things, the VC Suite enables the creation and publication of so-called VC Maps and includes a Feature Manipulation Engine (FME by Safe Software) workspace for exporting 3D objects from a VC Database or 3D City Database instance into various export formats. In addition, the city of Münster ordered VC Planner, an add-on module for digital city planning.
