Bremen calculates solar potential in the entire urban area
The city of Bremen extends its digital twin by a city-wide calculation of solar irradiation
The city of Bremen enriches its already advanced digital twin with a solar potential analysis for the entire city area. Now the global, diffuse and direct solar irradiation per building can be retrieved graphically and numerically by mouse click. Shading objects such as trees are taken into account in the calculation. This new module will support the city administration in its efforts to make Bremen a pioneer in sustainable energy.
