3D City Model
Workshop 3D City Models
Registration for the digitally hosted workshop (in German) is open now until October 31, 2025. The program is online, our Managing Director | CTO Dr. Claus Nagel will contribute to the workshop with his presentation “3DCityDB Version 5.0: Backbone for Urban Digital Twins. Participation is free of charge, and tickets are available for one or both days.
Objects in space
Three-dimensional models of cities and regions play an important role today in central tasks of architecture, urban and spatial planning, surveying, mobile telecommunications and facility management. In the environmental field, 3D city models enable, among other things, the simulation of noise and exhaust gas dispersion as well as predictions of possible changes in the urban climate. In disaster situations such as flooding, 3D landscape models can quickly determine which areas and buildings will be affected so that appropriate measures can be initiated at an early stage.
Target group
Users, producers, refiners of 3D city models. Authorities, companies and universities.
Information
All information on the workshop is published on the websites of the joint commission “3D City Models” of the German Society for Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Geoinformation e. V. (DGfK) and the German Society for Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Geoinformation e. V. (DGPF).
Registration
Registration deadline is 21 October 2022. After registration you will receive a confirmation of your booking. Places will be allocated in the order of registration.
