5CC+ Meeting | Shaping the Future of Digital Twins
From 18–21 May 2026, six international major cities will come together at the 5CC+ Meeting to exchange insights on smart city solutions and the use of Digital Twins.
The 5CC+ Meeting 2026 in Helsinki once again brings together leading metropolitan areas, technology partners, and digital transformation experts to jointly advance the digital development of urban spaces. The focus is on exchanging experiences and perspectives on digital twins as a key technology for efficient urban planning, sustainable development, and smart infrastructure.
Rotterdam, Hamburg, Helsinki, Vienna, Prague, and Singapore will engage in discussions with innovation partners such as Virtual City Systems and Future Insight on how current smart city concepts can be further developed using virtual reality, CityGML 3.0, LiDAR data, IoT, and big data.
Virtual City Systems as a driving force within the 5CC+ network
As an established provider of 3D geodata and Digital Twin solutions, Virtual City Systems contributes extensive practical experience to the 5CC+ network. Our tools for visualizing, analyzing, and managing urban environments are based on technologies such as CityGML 3.0, LiDAR data, and open standards, enabling data-driven decision-making for smart and resilient cities.
Key topics and exchange formats
The agenda includes thematic sessions on 3D city models, sustainable urban planning, connected data platforms, and IoT solutions.
Continuing a successful network
Following the successful 5CC+ Meeting 2024 in Singapore, which provided valuable input on BIM, sustainability, and CityGML 3.0, Prague hosted in 2025 the next milestone in the development of digital city models.
🤝 We look forward to actively shaping the future of digital twins together with leading cities and experts.
